England v Slovakia

This is a match everyone is looking forward to, particularly in Great Britain. It's fantastic to see Wales make it to a major tournament and they come up against one of their nearest and dearest rivals in the shape of England.

As you'd expect, bookies have the Three Lions down as the favourites for this one. They have star quality all over the pitch as well as some exciting young talent, including Tottenham Hotspur duo Dele Alli and Harry Kane, who are looking to replicate the form they've shown this season in the Premier League on the international stage.

Some of our team think England can all of the way too, with Jamie giving us five reasons to back Roy Hodgson's men for glory in France this summer.

The pressure will certainly be on Roy Hodgson's men in this one. With more tournament experience and a perceivably stronger squad, they are expected to win and defeat would leave them in trouble as far as progression is concerned. It would also see them receive HUGE criticism. The Three Lions are priced at 6/10 with Stan James.

Having said that, losing to this Wales team is not as embarrassing as it would have been several years ago. Chris Coleman has overseen some real progression within the national team set-up over recent years and his team even beat recent FIFA World Ranking toppers Belgium on their way to qualification.

Coleman has ensured that his team have the defensive organisation that provides the base for the attacking talents of Real Madrid star Gareth Bale. The former Tottenham man is supremely talented and was the catalyst for his team's win in the opening game against Slovakia, which gives this game a whole new slant.

In the end though, we think England have the quality to battle through for an important win in this game. After the Three Lions missed out on three points thanks to a last minute equaliser in Russia over the weekend, Wales will make it very difficult for Hodgson's creative players to find the space required to score too many goals so we think a winning margin of one goal for England at odds of 11/4 with bet365.

With Wales now top of Group B following their opening game win, this match has huge implications on England in particular. The Three Lions are two points off the pace but a win here would put them top of the group for the time being at least until Russia face Slovakia later in the day. The pressure is on, can Roy Hodgson's men handle it in Lens?

We're excited for this one!

Recommended bet: England to win by one goal at 11/4 with bet365
